Dinobot: What the?? Where in the inferno am I?!?!

Gnownaym: *sighs* Galactic Anarchy…

Dinobot: ALL RIGHT!! If I can't get in a fight, this place is the next best thing.

Gnownaym: Is there something about this site that I'm missing out on?

Dinobot: Considering the fact that you only read the battles you're in, you're missing a lot. Now, which series is this?

Gnownaym: Borg vs. First Ones.

Dinobot: Ah…yes. Well, it reduces my chances of getting to fight something considerably…

Gnownaym: This whole war has gotten real messy since the First Ones have sent attack fleets into Borg space. The Borg have lost over a dozen worlds thanks to the First One's planet killers. The Borg have still only assimilated that lone battle cruiser, and seem to be losing now that the First Ones have banded together.

Dinobot: Now, prepare for some massive carnage as we document the Borg's latest attempt to stop the Shadow's planet killer!

Gnownaym: The Shadow Death Cloud is accompanied by a large group of Shadow Spiders and even a few other First One ships. They're approaching a planet in Borg space.

Dinobot: Matrix 053, grid 14 in Borg terms.

Gnownaym: The Borg have a fairly impressive fleet here. Over 400 cubes accompanied by about 200 spheres. Also detecting something...it appears to be Borg in origin, but it doesn't look like any Borg ship I've seen.

Dinobot: It's big…it's over 7 kilometers across! Sort of a…hollowed-out diamond shape…

Gnownaym: The Shadow Planet Killer is launching several dozen missiles!

Dinobot: A few cubes manage to roll to the side, but several are vaporized by the missiles! One hits the corner of a cube smashing a big hole in it but the missile keeps going and destroys two spheres! The Diamond is faring better though, its shields have stopped two missiles, its weapons have taken down 3 missiles, and it evaded 2 more!

Gnownaym: The Shadows are firing slicer-beams, cutting into the cubes! The Borg return fire with energy drainers and torpedoes!

Dinobot: The Spiders squirm from the tractor beams with surprising speed and continue to fire into the Borg ships! The Borg launch massive volleys of torpedo weaponry taking down several Spider ships and even a few other First One ships!

Gnownaym: The Borg have adapted to Shadow weapons for the most part and their new Shadow armor is helping them take the blows better but the Shadows are making up for it by shooting more. Three spider ships team up their beams to cut Borg ships apart and then one finishes off the remains to keep the Borg from regenerating!

Dinobot: The other First Ones are faring better and able to defeat Borg cubes on a one to one basis! The Shadow death cloud continues to fire missiles occasionally destroying Borg ships with a single blow!

Gnownaym: The Borg Diamond is doing quite well, it's blown apart 4 Shadow Spider Ships, 3 First One ships, and has left over half a dozen enemy ships crippled! The Shadow Death Cloud is beginning to encompass the Borg forces!

Dinobot: The Death Cloud does its work cutting off ship systems, over a dozen cubes are now powerless! The Borg fleet is backing up and firing into the Planet Killer!

Gnownaym: The Borg continue to fire into the Death Cloud, only causing medium damage to some support struts! The Borg are surrounded, on two sides the First One fleet,

Dinobot: And on the other two, the Shadow Planet Killer. The Borg are refusing to give up and causing heavy damage to the First One fleet!

Gnownaym: About 7 First One ships and a few Shadow vessels are firing into the Borg Diamond! The missiles have destroyed most of its shielding and it's slowly coming apart under the combined firepower!

Dinobot: The Diamond's weapons cut down two attacking ships and smaller Borg vessels draw several more away. A Sphere even crashed into a "War Globe" to stop the attack!

Gnownaym: The First Ones are unrelenting however and more ships come to take their place! The Diamond is regenerating at a very fast rate, but the First Ones are tearing holes in it even faster!

Dinobot: Combined fire from two Borg cubes slice the legs right off a Shadow Spider and it spirals out of control! It just crashed into the Borg Diamond, cutting one of the 'struts' in half! Some Shadow fighters have actually gone inside and are blasting it up from there!

Gnownaym: The Borg fleet does look to be deteriorating as it continues to fight. The Borg are still refusing to run away! This must be a major planet, and the Shadow Cloud is beginning to surround it!

Dinobot: The Borg Diamond is firing some mega-huge phasers into the death cloud, it's knocking out multiple support struts and joints! The Death cloud is still going though…the Diamond is going to blow!

BOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gnownaym: And it did a very impressive job of it, took down several First One ships with it. The Borg are now starting to move away, but it looks to be too late, they can't fight through the First One fleet.

Dinobot: Some are making it, ST ships can hit very close to light speed under impulse power. Only the fastest ships in B5 can even come close so they're not used to such fast targets. The Borg are trying to damage the fleet as heavily as they can, firing madly at any First One ship in range.

Gnownaym: A few dozen Borg vessels escape, but most meet an explosive end at the "hands" of the First Ones. The Shadow Planet Killer has enveloped the planet and is firing missiles!!

Dinobot: Thousands of thousand-megaton missiles drill their way to the core where they'll blow and make the planet tear itself apart. A grisly end for any planet.

Gnownaym: No argument from me there. Let's go before the Shadows notice us.
