Ivanova's Warlock class Destroyer is on patrol around Earth Alliance's receded borders. Note; sensors to detect FTL ships in real space have been added.

Ivanova: Anything? It's been very quiet in this sector for the past week…

Officer: And that worries you, I know, I know.

Ivanova: *evil glare* And who asked you?

Officer: Uh…Nobody commander! *tries very hard to look busy*

Other Officer: Sir, long range sensors are picking up warp signatures!

Ivanova: Can you identify them?

Other Officer: I think so…..they're Jem'Hedar!

Ivanova: Crap. That's just what I needed! All defense systems online, charge weapons and release all fighters!

Scene shifts to inside a Jem'Hedar vessel:

Vorta: How close are we to the Earth Alliance vessel?

Jem'Hedar 1st: We'll be ready to drop out of warp and attack in less than a minute.

Vorta: Good, the more of these ships we can knock out, the easier Earth Alliance will fall.

The Jem'Hedar ships drop out of warp, one battlecruiser and two light attack ships. The two Jem'Hedar fighters speed into battle.

Ivanova: Alpha and Delta squadrons engage the Jem'Hedar ships, Beta squadron form a defensive screen around the ship. All units fire at will!

The Star Furies open fire first, over a dozen shots slamming into each attack ship. The shields hold and the Jem'Hedar lash out with poleron beams in retribution, destroying 7 of the fighters and continue for the capital ship. The squad flips out of the way, continuing to face and fire at the Jem'Hedar, two Star furies don't move fast enough and explode on the shields.

ISA pilot: Follow those ships!

The remains of the squad chase after the Jem'Hedar ships, firing into their backside. One of the ships turns around to engage.

ISA pilot: Evasive maneuvers! Evasive…*BOOM!!*

Jem'Hedar 2nd: Another three of the fighters have been destroyed, the others are scattering but continuing to fire. *BOOM!! Consoles explode*

Jem'Hedar 4th: Shields have failed, port warp nacelle is ruptured and there are two small hull breaches.

The other fighter meanwhile has made two strafing runs on Ivanova's ship while only suffering a nick that only caused minor damage and a few fighter shots.

Ivanova: Turrets 1, 3, and 4, I want that ship out of my sky!

ISA gunner: Roger that commander.

The attack ship dodges one beam, then another and then two snag it in a crossfire. The powerful Shadow-enhanced beam weapons instantly demolish it.

Four Thunderbolt Star Furies fire missile payloads into the Jem'Hedar fighter effectively finishing it off. Just as they do a poleron pulse blasts them out of the sky. Another 3 fighters go down from Jem'Hedar fire and the few survivors scramble for the ship.

Ivanova: All fighters, come up behind the ship and offer support fire. Weapons control, once our fighters are out of the way, open fire with all forward weaponry!

Officer: Yes commander.

Vorta: End this. Destroy that ship.

Jem'Hedar 1st: Gladly! All weapons, fire!

The Jem'Hedar ship comes alive with weapons fire. Torpedoes and poleron weapons streak to their targets. Another 2 fighters go down and the Warlock takes heavy damage. The Warlock returns fire, severely shaking the Jem'Hedar vessel.

Ivanova: Get those interceptors back online! Fire pulse cannons…NOW!

Four cannons mounted on the side of the forward section open fire. The shields stop most of the blasts but one does get through and causes a fair explosion on the Jem'Hedar vessel.

Jem'Hedar 1st: That's it! Let me handle this!

The two large ships continue to exchange firepower with the Star Fury fighters offering some support. The heavy Jem'Hedar battle cruiser holds out for a while and causes massive damage to the Warlock, blowing off several 'spider legs,' a part of the rotating section and causing a fair hole in the forward section.

Ivanova: *pulling her self up from some wreckage* Fire all available weapons…kill that SOB!!

The Warlock class EA Vessel fires its functioning weapons and destroys the Jem'Hedar ship, but not before they can beam a few Jem'Hedar aboard. Only three make it onboard the Command Center.

Ivanova: What the hell?!?

EA officers reach for their PPG's, one Jem'Hedar is gunned down by several blasts, meanwhile the other two keep going when hit only by one. Each Jem'Hedar kills two human officers quickly with a swift knife cut for one and brutal hand-to-hand for the other. One Jem'Hedar picks up an officer and tosses them half way across the room. Someone just entering rushes the Jem'Hedar and jumps on their back, pounding, the Jem'Hedar almost casually flips him off and crushes his windpipe with his foot. The human he just threw jumps into the Jem'Hedar sending them both crashing to the wall, the Jem'Hedar drops his knife and the human drives it into him. The other Jem'Hedar attacked Ivanova's first officer quickly killing her and then went for Ivanova. Ivanova kicked the knife from his hand and landed some more kicks on his chest, gut and neck in quick succession. The Jem'Hedar barely slows down and smacks Ivanova in the face, sending her spinning and falling. Ivanova gives him a swift kick in the kneecap and he falls down. The Jem'Hedar gives a punch to the gut, sending Ivanova back to the ground. He grabs his knife and stabs at her, she moves but gets a gash in the stomach. The Jem'Hedar is about to move to finish her off when a large beam falls from the roof and crushes his head.

Ivanova: *slight prayer position, looking up* Thank you.
