Undiscovered Frontier Download Page
Back in 1998, I began work on my first real attempt for a consistant writing. A year later, when I got my first stable internet connection, I went back and revised it to iron out some deficiencies in the story. That "attempt" at writing is this: Undiscovered Frontier. A sci-fi saga chronicling the adventures of a young man with a glorious destiny, with an interuniversal superpower built on the beliefs of freedom and liberty for all. To put it simply, I took the Federation to make a base, injected some capitalism, and gave it a pair of balls. To go with it, it had a setting in which I took several popular sci-fis and my own ideas and threw them in a blender. I actually had a coherent plan for this, too....
For the entirety of 1999, I wrote this work. Sadly, it never really gained popularity. In March of 2000, when I was about to get started on it again, a new idea for a story came to me, and I was soon at work at MechWarrior: Scorched Earth, which became more popular than Undiscovered Frontier had ever been. While I went on and wrote three more installments of Undiscovered Frontier after switching to Scorched Earth, Scorched Earth became too popular for me to ever focus on Undiscovered Frontier again. Ironically, I've gotten more fans for it since I stopped writing it, but even those small additions could not save this story from the scrap heap of my mind.
However, for posterity's sake, and to show just how far I've come as a writer (from 10,000 word short stories to 100,000+ word novels in just about two years), I'm restoring these works to the internet. I've put them in zip files based on the "seasons" in which they were written (much like a TV show, I denoted the passing of years by season, one season = one year).
